With the support of Vantage Point, we’ve been able to craft a strategic plan that highlights the need to strategically collaborate across sectors to create systemic change; utilizing the expertise and knowledge in our Partnership and meeting participants to create a nuanced and dynamic strategic plan that aims to amplify and support the needs of those overlooked most in Vancouver’s newcomer community.
Throughout the past 12 months, the VLIP Management Team (aka VLIP Secretariat), with the support of Maria and Dorla from Vantage Point, have relentlessly facilitated the VLIP strategic planning process; this months-long, meeting-heavy process has ultimately helped us define our Strategic Priorities for the next 2 years.

Vision:
The Vancouver Local Immigration Partnership (VLIP) is a community-based convener for diverse partners to strategically collaborate, across sectors, to influence systemic change and results for the impactful integration and well-being of immigrants, refugees, and those new to Canada.
Mission:

The purpose of the strategic plan is to support the vision and work of VLIP. Now that our vision, mission, values, and priorities are set, the next step is to finalize the Strategic Priority Working Groups.
