Priority Addressed: INFLUENCE CHANGE FOR RACIAL EQUITY
Engage and support partners, applying an intersectional lens, to address the deepest inequities facing those made most vulnerable, including those new to Canada who may be racialized, low income, marginally housed, non-permanent residents, and/or migrant workers.
A) Utilize relevant data, address barriers to employment, with a focus on both the readiness of employees and employers.
B) Identify and conduct outreach to audiences where conversations about racial equity are not yet happening.
C) Identify new funding to support those not yet being served by the current system and need support.
D) Support partners to decolonize their work.
E) Engage partners to identify specific policy change priorities.
